Words of Encouragement

Word of God Speak

Last night was the first praise and worship of the school year. It was great to be in community and be praising Jesus with Northwestern and the body of believers assembled here. God is continually transforming my heart and making me into His new creation. I am the clay in His hands and I am learning to be patient, gracious, loving and merciful to others by His example.

I am also learning to live for Him and not for what I want in the here and now. I am coming to the realization no one will be disappointed if I don't go to graduate school or get into the graduate schools I want. In the end it will be me berating myself for the failure that I will have felt that I have done myself. This is not true. God loves me and has a plan for me even if I have to wander in what may seem like a desert or face numerous trials. I must remember He is righteous and He is my way, truth and life.

Blessings to you all and remember to bring everything to the Lord for everything we struggle with. God knows everything and has a plan for us. Everything has already passed through His hands.
