Nearing the end of undergrad....

So I haven't updated this in forever.

I have been accepted to all three seminaries that I applied to; Sioux Falls, Southwestern Baptist, and Denver Theological. I ruled out Southwestern and now am looking at Denver and Sioux Falls.

God has been so good and so faithful this year and I am looking forward to what He has in store for me in the coming years. As I look toward the future I am filled with excitement, uncertainty, and happiness. I would not have expected my four years of college to come to a close so quickly but I can say that Northwestern has been such a wonderful fit for me.

All of the opportunities that I have had while attending is worth every single dollar of debt I will be in when I graduate and think about moving on with my life. I have made lifelong friends who support me and my calling to seminary. Among these friends I have found a home away from home and an extended family. God has blessed me richly through them and I am excited to see what God has in store for their lives as well.

I have to admit that with all of the changes taking place I had to lean heavily on friends and on God. My friends have done a wonderful job of reminding me that God is the one who is in control. He is the grand orchestrator of all things and He will lead me through the days, months, and years to come. Philippinans 4:4-6 has been the verse that has been set on my heart and I try daily to follow Paul's words as I pray continually and bring everything to the feet of Jesus. This is hard but I am forever grateful that we have a patient and loving God. When I don't get it and want results now I am reminded by the people I love to slow down and pray...continually. :)

I am growing up and growing out. My wings are spreading out and my eyes, ears, heart, are all being tuned in to focus on the Almighty Father who has given me life and breath. Thank you Jesus for all things and for the cross. May I be a pleasing servant to you as I traverse through the next stages of my life.

Whoever you are be blessed and remember to pray continually as God leads you on your life journey.
Solio de gloria,
Hollyann
